GO Transit 8166-8195
GO Transit 8166-8195 were Alexander Dennis Enviro500 buses built and delivered in 2014. They were an option taken from the 25 unit base order. These buses began to enter service in the summer of 2014.
This is the second order of double decker buses to feature GO Transit's new two-tone livery. In addition, they feature a new interior colour scheme, introduced on the 2014 MCI coaches). This includes pale green seats (with flat tops and yellow seat handles, as found on the previous batch), off-white carpeted ceiling, and ocher back wall. Like the previous batch, the interior features power outlets at selected seats and four LCD screens which integrate with the INIT CAD/AVL system to display route information and upcoming stops. However, the LED signs have been relocated, with the lower deck sign in the location of and replacing the stop request sign at the front of the bus, and the upper deck sign immediately above the LCD screen at the front in the same housing. All models are 43 feet in length with seating for 81 individuals, 30 on the bottom level and 51 on the top level.
The first unit of this order, 8166, marked the 500th bus in GO Transit's active fleet and was temporarily renumbered 500 as part of a promotional campaign. 8166/500 was delivered early August 2014, and entered service on September 17, 2014. A special 500th sticker has been applied to the side of the bus, although it has been renumbered back to 8166.

Assignment
As these buses have a lower height than their predecessors, they were able to be deployed on more routes around the GO network than the earlier 8000-series double deckers. However, due to height restrictions they were still unable to enter many of GO's major terminals, including Hamilton GO Centre, Union Station GO Bus Terminal, Yorkdale GO Bus Terminal, and York Mills GO Bus Terminal.
In their final years, those buses were based out of Aberfoyle, Halton Hills, Oshawa, Peterborough, Streetsville, and Steeprock garages, and can be found on routes 19C, 20, 25B/C/F, 27C, 29, 30, 39, 45, 46, 47, 48, 51, 52, 54, 81, 88, 90, 91, 92A, 93, and 96.
Retirement
At the start of April 2020, these buses were placed into storage. This was coincident with COVID-19 service reductions which meant less buses were needed. The buses were never returned to service. By the latter half of 2021, the buses were officially retired and began to be sold off. A number of buses have been purchased second hand by sightseeing tour companies.
