The General Motors T6H-5309A was a 40 foot New Look built from 1972 to 1973 in the United States. It was a specially built model for the NYCTA. They were essentially identical to the T6H-5307A models that were being sold to other operators.

T6H-5309A's were configured for local service and sat 43 passengers in a perimeter seating arrangement. They also had street level exhaust.
