Golden Touch Transportation
Golden Touch Transportation was a New York City-based shuttle and charter service provider. It operated the NYC Airporter service under a permit granted by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the Downtown Connection under an agreement with the Battery Park-based Downtown Alliance, who terminated their contract with Trans Express after complaints were filed, and the School of Visual Arts shuttle. It used to operate the Columbia University shuttles before Academy Express took over operations.
On June 29, 2020, the company filed a New York State Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN), indicating that it was closing down its plants and furloughing its workers due to unseen circumstances from COVID-19.[1]
