Grand River Transit 'School Specials'
Grand River Transit operates School Specials every weekday from various major terminals or locations to secondary schools scattered across the region.
They are numbered starting from 9800 in the run box, with 9801-9850 being Cambridge morning specials, 9851-9899 being Cambridge afternoon specials, 9901-9949 being Kitchener/Waterloo morning specials, and 9950-9999 being Kitchener/Waterloo afternoon specials.
The school specials come in two forms: A special makes all stops along the route, while an express operates non-stop to/from the school and the destination shown on the sign.
Cambridge
Galt Collegiate Institute and Vocational School
Located on 200 Water St. N, it is served by route 51 at all times, and a school special diversion of route 60 in the morning and afternoon.
