Halifax Transit 526-534

Halifax Transit 526-534 are Nova Bus LFS buses built and delivered in 2012.

The 2011/2012 budget included funding for these nine buses to be used on the MetroX Airport/Fall River Service, which began service May 31, 2012. A request for proposals was issued in July 2011 for 15 buses, six of which are options. New Flyer, Nova Bus, and Orion each submitted bids. Nova scored the best in terms of technical requirements and operating cost, though Orion scored the best in procurement cost.

These buses are used exclusively on MetroX route 320 Airport/Fall River.
