Halifax Transit route 57 'Russell Lake' is a new route which provides service from Portland Hills Terminal to the Woodside Industrial Park and ferry terminal via Portland Hills, Portland Estates and Baker Drive. The route completely replaces the former route 65 Astral (renamed 65 Caldwell) between Portland Hills Terminal and the Woodside Ferry Terminal.
Originally, service to Portland Estates was provided by the now defunct route 50 Portland Estates.
