Halifax Transit route 89 'Bedford' primarily services the Bedford/Hammonds Plains area, between Lacewood Terminal in Halifax and Cobequid Terminal in Lower Sackville. The route also services the new Research In Motion office complex on Hammonds Plains Road. This route also introduces direct service from Lower Sackville to Clayton Park, reducing the number of transfers required to get to the Bayers Lake Business Park to just one - something residents of Lower Sackville and Bedford have been requesting for years.
