Holland America 1058-1059 are 2005 Colorado Railcar Ultra Dome cars.
The cars were built as some of the largest-capacity passenger cars in North America, with seating for up to 132 passengers. They were ordered to replace Holland America's previous fleet, consisting of vintage dome cars from other operators.
The cars are hauled by Alaska Railroad locomotives with the purpose of transporting cruise guests from ports in Seward/Whittier to inland destinations, such as Anchorage and Denali National Park. Unlike the other Ultra Domes (1050-1057) which operate in pairs, 1058-1059 both contain 89 seats on the upper level with 40 seats, and an observation deck and seating for 40 on the lower level.
