Keele is a vivastation located at the intersection of Highway 7 West and Keele Street in Vaughan, ON.

Basic

Eastbound:

• Located on the south side of the Highway 7 East Rapidway just east of Keele Street. Its stop number is 9854.

Westbound:

• Located on the north side of the Highway 7 West Rapidway just west of Keele Street. Its stop number is 9853.

History

Keele opened on September 4, 2005 as part of Viva phase 1. It originally served Viva Purple with two stops, both on Keele Street just south of Highway 7.

On February 26, 2017, the first segment of the Highway 7 West Rapidway opened. Eastbound Viva Purple service switched to the new rapidway station, while westbound service continued to use the southbound curbside stop. Local route 77 Highway 7 also used the rapidway stations temporarily in both directions. On December 17, 2017, Viva Orange began serving the rapidway stops in both directions, while route 77 returned to the curbside stops. Viva Purple service was removed on September 2, 2018, which resulted in the closure of the southbound station (although it continues to be used by local buses on Keele Street).
