• September 29, 2012 - route launched, interlining with D Line, replacing predecessor routes 54 and 54X
• June 2015 - Frequencies improved to every 7-8 minutes peak, 12 minutes off-peak, 12 minutes Saturdays and 15 minutes Sundays.
• March 26, 2016 - Interlining with D Line ceased, route revised to terminate in South Lake Union instead of Downtown Seattle.
• September 2018 - Alaksan Way Viaduct closed for demolition, route revised to operate via 1st Avenue S to and from downtown
• March 2019 - Route operations moved to Atlantic Base
• March 2020 - Routing revised to operate via Alaskan Way and Columbia
• March 2020 - September 17, 2022 - Routing revised to use Spokane Street Bridge due to closure of West Seattle Bridge
