Kingston Township Transit operated the transit service in the former Township of Kingston, located immediately west of the City of Kingston, from 1975 to 1998. When the system first started it was operated by Travelways on behalf of the Township. Later the service was operated by Laidlaw.
On January 1st, 1998, Kingston Township Transit was merged with Kingston Transit.
