Fares
Kingston Transit uses the electronic BEA Farebox to collect fares. Beginning in 2019, the Payment in Motion HF-1 farebox made its debut. The HF-1 farebox is able to process payments almost instantly compared to the BEA farebox, which takes a few seconds to process each payment.

Roster
The numbering scheme used on the buses is the last two digits of the year of manufacture, followed by the unit number. All buses feature Sportworks bike racks capable of transporting at least two bikes. Conventional buses are equipped with GPS-based 'Smart Bus' trackers as well as internal and external announcement systems supplied by Mobitec.
