Kitsap Transit is the service provider for Kitsap County, Washington. They operate fixed route (some with limited DART areas), Access (door-to-door), Worker/Driver, the Kitsap Transit Foot Ferry (Between Port Orchard, Annapolis and Bremerton), vanpools, SCOOT (Smart Commuter Option Of Today) and Vanlink.

The Worker/Driver uses 40' MCI 102D3s, which were purchased in 2011 and 2012. "Worker/Driver buses are driven by full time employees (“worker”) of the military facilities who are also part time employees of Kitsap Transit (“drivers”). Buses operate much like a large carpool. The driver boards their bus near their home in the morning and travels to work, picking up co-workers along the way. After work, they hop back in their bus with their co-workers and drop them off on their drive" (from Kitsap Transit's website).

Foot Ferry, Fast Ferry

Kitsap Transit operates two different types of passenger-only ferry services. Foot ferries offer local service between Bremerton, Port Orchard and Annapolis. Fast ferries offer higher-speed service, connecting the Kitsap County destinations of Bremerton, Kingston and Southworth to downtown Seattle. The Port Orchard Foot Ferry is the only Kitsap Transit service to run on Sundays, while the Annapolis route runs only during weekday peak hours. The Bremerton Fast Ferry runs Monday-Saturday, while the Kingston and Southworth fast ferries run only on weekdays, with the exception of the summertime, when Saturday service operates on the routes as well.
