The Motor Coach Industries MC-1 was a motor coach produced from 1959 until 1961. It featured a Detroit Diesel 4-71 diesel engine and a five speed manual transmission.

They featured much of the same technology used on the Courier 97, such as air ride suspension and two side mounted radiators for engine cooling.

18 were built in total. 17 production units and one 1959 MCX-1 prototype.
