The New England Wheels Frontrunner is a low floor minibus built on a customized RAM Promaster 3500 chassis. The front-wheel drive vehicle comes with an electronically controlled air-suspension. The system can lower the vehicle’s front end at highway speeds for improved aerodynamics and fuel efficiency.

The bus has space for for 15 passengers and up to two wheelchairs (11 passengers with 2 wheelchairs). The floor is flat with a step up to towards the rear. A lightweight aluminum, fold-out ramp with a slope of 1:6 provides access for wheelchairs.

As of early 2024, only the gasoline powertrain is available for the Frontrunner bus, citing delays from FCA.
