The New Flyer Industries XDE40 is a diesel-electric transit bus from New Flyer's Xcelsior line. It was the first Xcelsior model and was launched at the 2008 APTA Expo. The first customer of the XDE40 was Brampton Transit in 2010 for their Züm service.
