Newmarket GO Station is a GO Transit train station located in Newmarket, ON. It is located at the Tannery Mall, on Davis Dr. east of Main St.
The station platform is located east of the tracks, extending north from Davis Dr., and along the west side of the Tannery Mall, with direct access to the GO Transit parking lot behind the mall, walkways to the mall parking lot, and access to the mall itself. Inside the mall, near the exit to the train platform, is a GO Transit ticket vendor.
History
The original Newmarket GO Station is located south of Davis Dr., not far from the current station. The station and platform remain to this date, albeit unused. GO Trains moved to the new station with the construction of the Tannery Mall, in order to expand the station from its former location.
Connecting routes
Buses stop on Davis Dr. in front of the Tannery or on Main St. at Davis Dr. because of a lack of off-street bus facilities.
