Niagara Falls Transit 2986-2989

Niagara Falls Transit/Niagara Region Transit 2986-2989 are 2009 Nova Bus LFS buses.

A request for proposals for 30 foot to 40 foot buses was issued in 2008. City View Bus Sales (ElDorado National dealer) submitted a bid for 30 to 35 foot buses totaling $1,978,191.08, and Nova submitted a bid for 40 foot buses totaling $1,874,988.00. With the lower price, Nova was selected to provide four 40 foot buses.

They were delivered all white in late 2009 and had the new "waterfall" livery applied shortly after. They were retrofitted with LED headlights in 2010. Ownership was transferred to Niagara Region Transit effective January 1, 2023.
