Niagara Falls Transit 2986-2989 are 2009 Nova Bus LFS buses.
A request for proposals for 30 foot to 40 foot buses was issued in 2008. City View Bus Sales (ElDorado National dealer) submitted a bid for 30 to 35 foot buses totaling $1,978,191.08., and Nova submitted a bid for 40 foot buses totaling $1,874,988.00. With the lower price, Nova was selected to provide four 40 foot buses.[1]
They were delivered all white in late 2009 and had the new "waterfall" livery applied shortly after. These buses were retrofitted with LED headlights in 2010.
