The Niagara Parks Commission operated a shuttle service called the People Mover between attractions located within the park. Original vehicles were tractor-based vehicles pulling multiple short open-air cars. May 1985 saw the introduction of the Orion IV bus which consisted of a longer closed power vehicle pulling a closed trailer. The vehicles were air conditioned, but not heated. The People Mover only operated during the summer tourist season.

The People Mover service was replaced by WEGO Visitor Transportation System in August 2012, operated jointly by Niagara Falls Transit and Niagara Parks Commission.

The Parks Commission employees were/are represented by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU), Local 217.
