History
- September 12, 2011: Service begins as part of the Niagara Region Transit pilot project.
- January 2014: Pilot project made permanent.
- September 3, 2019: 30 minute service introduced all day during weekdays. Service span extended to operate 7am to 11pm, Monday to Saturday, to match operating hours of other Regional routes.
- September 3, 2019: New branch 70A/75A introduced between Brock University and Niagara College Welland Campus, replacing the Brock Link route and adding new service to Pelham.
- early 2020: 70A/75A branch temporarily suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- August 2020: 70A/75A branch permanently discontinued following Pelham Transit's switch to NRT OnDemand.
- January 5, 2025 - Operations are now split between the Niagara Falls and St Catharines garages, following the closure of the Welland garage.

Route 70/75 uses four standard 40 foot vehicles, two each from Niagara Falls and St Catharines divisions. It operates primarily with standard 40 foot vehicles, including New Flyer D40LF/DE40LF/DE40LFR/XD40, Nova Bus LFS, and Orion VII/VII EPA10 buses. St Catharines may assign an articulated 60 foot New Flyer XD60 or Nova Bus LFS Artic bus to one of their runs due to overcrowding. A fifth bus (from St Catharines) operates extra southbound trips during the AM peak period. On weekends route 70/75 uses 2 vehicles, one from each division.
