The Nova Bus TC40-102N, also known as the Classic, was a transit bus available in Canada and the United States from 1993 until 1997. Production of the Classic was started under General Motors in 1983. In 1987, production continued under MCI until 1993 when the design passed to the newly formed Nova Bus.

The Nova Bus Classic was available in a V-drive or T-drive powertrain configuration. The T-drive versions, where the engine and transmission were mounted inline longitudinally, have an intrusion between the rear seats to make room for the layout.

As with previous Classic manufacturers, Nova Bus produced an air-conditioned version of the Classic known as the TC40-102A.
