Oakville Transit 1101-1106
Oakville Transit 1101-1106 are New Flyer XD40 buses built in 2011. The contract was awarded to New Flyer in June 2010 and delivery began in April 2011. All of these buses have entered service by the end of June 2011.
Inside, there are 40 4ONE Aries passenger seats. After the front wheel wells, there are two wheelchair spaces on either side which use Q'Straint's Q'Pod system. Forward facing seating in a 2+2 configuration follows to the rear with a single perimeter seat over each rear wheel well. Cabin lighting is LED provided by TCB Industries.
A folding wheelchair ramp is located at the front door of the bus. Rear doors are passenger operated utilizing Vapor's CLASS sensing system. All windows are traditionally mounted and of the tip-in transom design manufactured by Arow Global.
