Oakville Transit 2101-2104 were 2001 Orion 06.501 buses built in March 2001. Unlike their earlier counterparts, these units have a center rear door.
Oakville issued a tender for the refurbishment of one 1999 Orion VI and three from this series. The contract was awarded to MTB in Milton. 2102 was the first unit sent out in late December 2009 after it developed serious engine problems. 2104 was not part of the tender; it was later decided to not include 2103 as well. The remaining units were retired at the end of the month of December 2015.
