Old Cummer GO Station is a GO Transit train station located in Toronto, ON. The station is located west of Leslie Street, in the hydro corridor north of Finch Ave.
The parking lot is located in the hydro corridor north of Finch Avenue, stretching between Leslie St. and the tracks. The station building is in the south-east corner of the parking lot, with the station platform moving south from the station building. A walkway continues south of the platform, ending with a bridge across Finch Ave. Tickets are available in the station building during morning rush hours, and from a Ticket Vending Machine at other times.
History
Old Cummer opened with the rest of the Richmond Hill Line on May 1, 1978. Besides for normal upgrades and the pedestrian walkway/bridge to Finch Avenue, there have been no major changes to the station since its opening.
GO bus service to Old Cummer ended in April 2010, when route 61C connecting Old Cummer and Oriole GO Stations to Union was eliminated, as it was seen as a local service (operating entirely within the City of Toronto), and extra buses were required for the new train-bus for the Georgetown Line.
Connecting routes
No buses enter the station, and are only available by walking to Leslie Street or Finch Avenue.
