OC Transpo 9231-9258 were Orion 05.501 buses built and delivered in 1992.
They featured padded vinyl seats (Otaco), tip-in windows, A/C and Pylon destination rollsigns originally. A/C was disconnected as a cost savings measure. All had been retrofitted with Luminator Mega:MAX 3000 destination signs. 9256-9258 came equipped with yellow stanchions at the front of the bus to help with accessibility.
Due to premature corrosion, this series started being retired from January 2006 (except for two that were retired in 2005) until July 2007 when the last unit retired from service. 9236 was the last unit in service.
