Ottawa-Carleton Regional Transit Commission 9301-9330
OC Transpo 9301-9330 were Nova Bus TC40-102A buses built in 1993.
They feature padded vinyl seats (Otaco), tip-in windows, A/C and Pylon destination rollsigns originally. A/C was disconnected as a cost savings measure. All have been retrofitted with Balios Orange LED destination signs. This batch of Classics were the first OC Transpo buses (excluding 9256-9258) to come equipped with yellow stanchions, albeit mainly only at the front of the bus.
Some buses in this series (9307, 9310, 9312, 9316, 9321) received full rebuilds from Eastway in late 2005-early 2006 and were also repainted into the Maple Leaf livery, whereas the remaining buses were given minor refurbishments and stayed in the old red stripe livery.
From 2004-2006, all buses in this series were retrofitted with DOC systems in order to reduce emissions.
This was the first full production order that was started and completed by Nova.
