The current routing of Route 49

Route 49 is a local route that runs between Hurdman and Elmvale Mall along Pleasant Park Road. The route operates mostly during peak periods, plus a few trips in the mid-day and evening. Saturday & Sunday service operates hourly.

History

June 25th, 2017

  • Route 149 is renumbered to local Route 49 in preparations for the launch of the O-Train Confederation Line in 2018.
  • New routing and stop locations at Hurdman Station.

March 30th, 2020

  • Due to low ridership from the COVID-19 outbreak, service will be reduced to every 60 minutes.

June 28th, 2020

  • Will be in service and will operate the same route network that was in place from January to March 2020, with some seasonal adjustments.
