Peerless Stages, Inc was a coach operator in the San Francisco Bay Area and Santa Cruz, CA. Mainline service was provided from Oakland to San Jose and Santa Cruz, and Reno, alongside local service in San Jose and Santa Cruz. Charter service was also provided by the company.

Local
Routes 1 - 5 replaced former SP steam line in early 1942. Mayfair Bus Lines also ran the local San Jose lines (east San Jose, Alviso, and Agnews State Hospital) until 1961. Route 6 and 7 were formerly operated by Mayfair.[2] Local San Jose lines and busses were taken over by Santa Clara County Transit in 1973.[3] Routes 1-5 and 7, 8 ran M-F, route 6 M-Sa.
