History
Post Road Stages was founded in 1912 as a school shuttle service near South Windsor, CT. Since then, they have grown into a small, family owned charter services operation, with limited public transit services
Public Transit Operations
For a number of years, Collins Bus Service (the name for Post Road Stages' public transit operation) has operated CTtransit Route 917. Up until 2010, Post Road had used their own company buses to run the service. In 2010, they were supplied with 4 state owned buses for usage on this line, as well as another two in late 2015.
