Powertrain Integration, LLC, often referred to as PI, was a GM OEM engine and transmission distributor based in Madison Heights, Michigan. In addition to their OEM engine and transmission offerings, PI was a manufacturer of alternative-fuel engines for GM and Freightliner Custom Chassis.
In 2015, Power Solutions International (PSI) acquired PI's 40,000-square-foot facility in Madison Heights, Michigan. Powertrain Integration's engines continued to be offered as a brand name until the 2019 model-year in mid-2018, when PSI discontinued the brand.
