Road Runner Transit is a transit system operated by the Southern Colorado Community Action Agency. It connects the communities of Ignacio and Bayfield to the city of Durango in southwestern Colorado.

History

Road Runner Transit was first launched in 1999 by the Southern Ute Community Action Programs (SUCAP).

In response to Greyhound service cuts to the route betweeen Salt Lake City and Albuquerque in 2011, Road Runner Transit introduced a new service branded Road Runner Stage Lines, operating between Durango and Grand Junction. The first trip operated on July 15, 2014.[1] Road Runner Stage Lines was rebranded to Bustang Outrider in September 2018, to match the branding for similar state-funded intercity routes.[2]
