History
SFO Airporter Inc. (Jeff Lenodakis & family) started off running a line run from Downtown San Francisco to the San Francisco International Airport. Around 1996, the charter business sector was picking up and a number of SFO Airporter drivers were booking their own charters with the company as well. They were starting to get shuttle contracts with Genentech and other companies, so it was decided to start a separate company for the charter side, called Compass Transportation. Compass Transportation and San Francisco Parking Inc. DBA SFO Shuttle Bus Company operated separate, but were wholly owned by Jeff Lenoudakis. Drivers could easily switch between the 2 companies. SFO Shuttle Bus Company was used for training new operators for both companies.[1]
