The San Mateo Burlingame Transit Company was a privately owned operator that provided service between San Mateo, Burlingame and one trip a day to Belmont. The company went out of business November 1969.
Detailed service history
- It provided service in Hillsborough and service across the San Mateo Bridge to Hayward in earlier years.
- It had school bus contracts for San Mateo and Burlingame school districts.
- It had the very first SFO terminal shuttle bus contract. The buses used for the service were required to match San Francisco MUNI's livery per contract. They operated the shuttle until the company shut down in November 1969.
