Société de transport de Montréal 38-001 to 38-100 are Nova Bus LFS HEV buses built and delivered in 2018 and are the fourth new hybrid bus order overall (excluding the 2008 Allison hybrids).
These units featuring A/C and frameless windows as well as USB chargers inside the bus. Like the later-2017 units, there are two accessible seating areas on the driver side. Units 38-051 to 38-100 features the new plastic seats American Seating InSight Prime and the new driver window.
All units were delivered to Saint-Laurent from April to September 2018. In November 2018, 38-001 to 38-025 were transferred to Frontenac, serving as the first batch of the Nova Bus LFS HEV in that garage. At the start of 2020, 38-026 to 38-040 were transferred to Stinson. This was part of a bus trade where Saint-Laurent received airport buses to operate the 747 route. In autumn 2020, 38-086 to 38-100 were transferred to Frontenac as to house the new 40-XXX vehicles at Saint-Laurent. In late 2020/early 2021, 38-026 to 38-037 were transferred to Frontenac while 38-038 to 38-040 were transferred back to Saint-Laurent.
