The Société de transport de Sherbrooke (STS) serves the city of Sherbrooke located in Quebec's eastern townships. The STS provides conventional transit and paratransit services to approximately 170,000 inhabitants of Sherbrooke over a 366.4 square kilometre territory.
History
The Corporation municipale de transport de Sherbrooke (CMTS), which was created in 1978, was known as the Corporation métropolitaine de transport de Sherbrooke from 1985 until it was renamed Société de transport de Sherbrooke (STS) on January 1, 2002. The name change coincided with the amalgamation of the former city of Sherbrooke with its surrounding municipalities.

Fares
- The STS implemented in 2018 a radiofrequency fare card called La Vermeilleuse. The card is based on the same system as the Multi card currently used by Société de transport de l'Outaouais and Société de transport de Trois-Rivières. This calls for the phasing out of the tokens.
- Current
- The STS has a program called passe universelle which is monthly pass that gets included in the tuition fees of participating institutions. Currently the most notable participants are the Université de Sherbrooke and the Cégep de Sherbrooke.
