Sound Transit is the popular name of Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority which was formed in 1996 but started on September 19, 1999. The system serves the Puget Sound Region in Washington with bus, commuter rail, and light rail service.

Link Light Rail

Link is the branding Sound Transit applies to its light rail services. Link is broken up into two sections, Central Link and Tacoma Link. Central Link runs traditional light rail cars, while Tacoma Link runs smaller streetcar style cars.
