Sound Transit 9500-9524 were 1999 New Flyer D60LF buses. These buses are used for express services.

These are the first D60LFs delivered for use by Sound Transit. This series was built according to King County Metro Transit and Community Transit specifications. Each bus in the series had a cost of around $456,255 1999 USD.

These buses were planned for retirement in 2012. These units have a replacement cost estimated at $720,000 as of March 2010[1]. Seven units were still listed as active in the Transit Development Plan 2013-2018 and 2012 Annual Report.[2]

Buses in this series were stored with Community Transit and King County Metro Transit at South Base and East Base.
