Sound Transit 9500-9524 is wheelchair accessible.

Sound Transit 9500-9524 are New Flyer Industries D60LF buses acquired in 1999. All models are 60 feet in length with seating for 58 individuals. These buses are used for express services and are equipped with bike racks.

These are the first D60LFs delivered for use by Sound Transit. This series was built according to King County Metro Transit and Community Transit specifications. Each bus in the series had a cost of around $456,255 1999 USD.

These buses are planned for retirement in 2012. These units have a replacement cost estimated at $720,000 as of March 2010[1]. Seven units were still listed as active in the Transit Development Plan 2013-2018 and 2012 Annual Report.[2]

Buses in this series were stored with Community Transit and King County Metro Transit at South Base and East Base.
