Sound Transit 9713-9719
Sound Transit 9713-9719 are MCI D4500CL buses acquired in 2008. All models are 45 feet in length with seating for 57 individuals. All D4500CLs of this series are equipped with wheelchair lifts and have two wheelchair positions through seat adjustment. These buses are used for express services and are equipped with bike racks.
These are the first D4500CLs delivered for use by Sound Transit, with the older D4500 model phased out.
This series is expected to be retired in 2021. They have an estimated replacement cost of $600,000 as of March 2010[1].
All buses in this series are stored at the Pierce County transit garage operated by Pierce Transit.
