The 545 was peak only, and replaced service on the 546 during peak hours, but the 546 ran all day, and both ran from 5:30 AM to 10 PM on weekdays only.[1]

Route History
The 545 and 546 express were introduced together Sound Transits second phase of ST express introduction in September 2000.[2] The 546 replaced the 148th Ave NE and Overlake parts of the deleted route 267, along with the Microsoft campus routing of the deleted all day route 263.
The 546 lasted two years until the opening of Overlake Transit Center in Febuary 2002. The 545 partially replaced service by becoming all-day with similar hours to the 546, and began to serve the two new freeway stations at NE 40th St and NE 51st St along SR-520.[3]
