Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority 1800-1809 were 1989-1990 Flxible Metro "B" CNG (40102-6CG) buses. They were originally delivered to Southern California Rapid Transit District and transferred to LA Metro in 1993. The buses were plagued with mechanical issues and constant breakdowns; as such, they were sparingly used in service until 1995-1996; they were then stored as parts buses for the diesel Flxible Metro buses until half of the fleet was brought back into service in 2000.
