Routes

System map, schedules
Note: As of October 29, 2023, Suffolk County Transit (SCT) presented the "Reimagine Transit Initiative", which was a complete redesign of its bus system. All routes no longer have an "S" at the beginning of their name. For example, the "S1" in now known as "Route 1". Suffolk Transit now operates daily bus service (including holidays) system-wide with local buses running weekdays until 10 PM and weekends until at least 8 or 9 PM.

Routes 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 17, 51 and 66 operate every 30 minutes until at least 6 PM, then operate every hour until at least 10 PM.

Routes 3, 10, 15, *52A, *52B, 53, 55, 56, 58, 62, *77, *77Y, 80, 92 operate every hour until at least 9 or 10 PM.

  • The 52A/52B operate every 30 minutes as they share routing between Selden and Central Islip
  • The 77/77Y operates every 30 minutes as they share routing between Patchogue and North Bellport.

Route 110 ("Suffolk Clipper") operates every hour during rush-hours only (Towards Melville Hub in the AM, towards Farmingville Park & Ride in the PM)

ALL routes operate every hour on the weekends until at least 8 or 9 PM.

Suffolk Transit also operates two "On-demand" zones on the South Fork. The On-Demand zones operate 7 days a week between 6 AM and 8 PM, including holidays.

  • The Southampton-On Demand zone replaced the 10A bus route in June of 2021.
  • The East Hampton/Montauk On-Demand zone replaced the 10B and 10C bus routes on April 28, 2024.
