T:GO Transit is the public transportation service in Tillsonburg, Ontario.
History
- The previous transit service in Tillsonburg (Tillsonburg Transit) had operated until the end of 2001.
- A shared-taxi pilot service was operated for six weeks in October and November 2013.[1]
- The community initiative was launched on April 4, 2016 after two years of study and planning. Service was in the form of a Call-N-Ride using a Ford Transit run by Tillsonburg Community Living.
- Operation of the transit service was awarded to The BTS Network in August 2018, with fixed route service began shortly after that. Service rebranded as T:GO Transit.
- Voyago began operating the service in July 2020.
- Inter-Community Transit routes launched on August 4, 2020.
Routes
Service operates Monday to Friday using two routes.
- In-Town Service
- Blue Line (6 am - 8 am, 2 - 4 pm)
- Red Line (8 am - 2pm, 4 pm - 6 pm)
- Inter-Community Transit:
- Route 1 - Tillsonburg-Woodstock-Ingersoll (Monday to Friday)
- Route 2 - Tillsonburg-Courtland-Delhi (Tuesday and Friday)
- Route 3 - Tillsonburg-Port Burwell (Tuesday and Friday)
- Route 4 - Tillsonburg-Dorchester-London (Monday and Wednesday)
Dial-a-ride is available Monday to Friday from 6 am to 6 pm. (Call 226-641-6821)
