- March 19, 2000 - Route is extended to Jane Station via St. Clair Avenue West and Jane Street. Buses replace streetcar service on this route.
- June 20, 2010 - Route is made accessible using low-floor buses. Route is made bike rack equipped.
- October 11, 2015 - Route is revised to operate to Dundas West Station via Dundas Street West to replace a portion of the former 313 Jane route. Route is renamed from 312 St. Clair to 312 St. Clair-Junction to reflect this service change.
- March 28, 2021 - This route was transferred to Wilson upon the opening of the brand new McNicoll Division.
