Station Details

The station is located at Beresford Street and Royal Oak Avenue in Burnaby. Royal Oak provides access to nearby industrial and low-density residential areas.

The station site and sections of the Expo Line directly west and east of Royal Oak was also the site of several old stations on the BC Electric Railway Central Park Line, which the Expo Line follows and parallels in some portions between Nanaimo Station and New Westminster Station. The station is located at the same location as the old Royal Oak station. Located directly below the station on Royal Oak Avenue is the last location where a street intersects the old Central Park Line to have level crossing signals.

Located directly east of Royal Oak Station is a plaque commemorating the construction workers killed during the construction of SkyTrain from 1983 to 1985.
