uLinc was a transit system that operated three routes within the Town of Lincoln, Ontario. The system started November 13th, 2017 and was operated by The BTS Network.

History

In July 2017, planners in Lincoln unveiled details for a transit system. The two routes that were planned targeted seniors residences, community hubs and commercial areas. They would run Monday to Friday, with service on Saturday from June to October.[1] A third route, operating on King Street as far as 19th Street was soon added. The public was given a preview of the buses on November 7, 2017.[2] On November 13, 2017, uLinc was launched as a year-long pilot project.[3]

uLinc was replaced by NRT OnDemand service on August 17, 2020.

Routes

uLinc routes operated on an infrequent schedule, with one bus operating all runs, interlining with each other through the course of the day.

All routes converged at the Fleming Centre, while route 932 (Beamsville North) connected with GO Transit services at the assigned GO stop north of the Fleming Centre.

On July 3, 2019, route numbers were prefixed with a 930-series number, possibly in response to a streamlined route numbering system for most other agencies in the Regional Municipality of Niagara.

Hours of service were Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm. [4]
