VIA Metropolitan Transit 406-420

VIA Metropolitan Transit 406-420 are 2016 New Flyer XN40 buses.

406-417 were used primarily on the VIVA routes, however they were discontinued after the Covid-19 pandemic. These buses were repainted into the regular livery and returned to normal service. 418 was the Classroom on Wheels bus, which would visit elementary schools for transit demonstrations. The program was discontinued due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the bus was repainted into the regular livery and returned to normal service. 419-420 are used on PRIMO routes. These are the only buses in the entire fleet to feature 3-position bike racks.
