Valleymede is a vivastation located at the intersection of Highway 7, Times Avenue and Valleymede Drive in Markham and Richmond Hill, ON.

Basic

Eastbound:

• Located on the south side of the Highway 7 East Rapidway just east of Times Avenue. Its stop number is 9726.

Westbound:

• Located on the north side of the Highway 7 East Rapidway just west of Valleymede Drive. Its stop number is 9727.

History

Valleymede opened on September 4, 2005 as part of Viva phase 1. It originally served Viva Purple, and Viva Pink was added January 2, 2006 as part of Viva phase 4.

Both stops were relocated during vivaNext construction. The westbound stop was relocated from the northeast to northwest corner on January 10, 2012, then to the northeast corner on September 10, 2012. The eastbound stop was relocated from the southeast to the southwest corner on May 24, 2012.

The first section of the Highway 7 East rapidway opened on August 18, 2013, which included the opening of the Valleymede rapidway stations.
