The Volvo Buses B12B is a coach and intercity bus chassis based on Volvo's TX product platform. The chassis is made of 3CR12 stainless steel using box section construction. It has a 12 litre horizontal diesel engine mounted longitudinally at the rear. Coinciding with the introduction of the Euro 5 emission standard, the B12B will be replaced by the Volvo Buses B13R
