The Volvo Buses B7L is a low floor bus chassis. It has a 7.3 litre engine mounted on the left side of the rear at an 80° angle to the drive axle. This configuration allows for a full low floor and for a door at the rearmost of the vehicle. The mechanically driven radiator is positioned above the engine. The chassis was introduced in 1998 and replaced the diesel-powered B10L.[1] The CNG-powered B10L continued to be offered until it and the B7L were replaced by the B9L in 2006.
