The Western Development Museum or WDM is a museum with four locations across the province of Saskatchewan. It has many railway and transit related artifacts.

Moose Jaw

Saskatoon 177

Moose Jaw's WDM is focused around travel and transportation. They run Saskatchewan's only working steam train, and have two ex. SMR vehicles: a Canadian Car and Foundry T-48A trolleybus (Saskatoon Transit 177), and an Ottawa Car Company streetcar (Saskatoon Municipal Rapilway 61)

North Battleford

The North Battleford WDM has a pioneer village, including a small inactive rail line. One steam train is on property, and is currently undergoing restoration.

Saskatoon

Saskatoon's WDM shows life in a prairie boomtown, with a number of replica buildings along a main street. This museum used to have Saskatoon Municipal Railway 200, a track sweeper, but later donated it to the Edmonton Radial Railway Society. This car is currently being rebuilt.

They are currently restoring Saskatoon Municipal Railway 12. This car was purchased from the Western Railway Museum in 1999.

This museum also has a number of railcars, including a 1919 caboose and a CPR steam locomotive. It also has two working model railways.
